Module 1: Learning to Write Effective Present Levels and Apply Goal & Objective Formulas

In this module, you will learn to craft effective present level statements so that they serve as a blueprint for goal development, learn to create measurable IEP goals and objectives using a formulaic approach, and learn to avoid 6 common measurement pitfalls. After completing this module, you will be armed with new knowledge to improve your IEP writing skills immediately.

Module 2: Learning to Make Effective Measurement Choices

In this module, you will learn to make effective measurement choices, learn to chart and graph student progress data, expand your awareness of measurement pitfalls, and learn to write rubrics to measure complex behavioral skills. After completing this module, you will be armed with new knowledge and skills to engage in effective progress monitoring.

Audience: This course series is appropriate for individuals who are responsible for creating, revising, and monitoring IEP goals and objectives for students with social-emotional and behavioral challenges, such as school psychologists, school social workers, school counselors, special education teachers, BCBAs, and special education administrators. 

Time: Each module has a video run time of approximately 2 hours.
