Training Description: The Essential Teacher Toolkit is a 5-part live webinar series focused on the strategies teachers need most to effectively support behavior, engagement, and learning in today’s classrooms. Each session is packed with practical ideas, easy-to-implement strategies, and real-world examples designed to help educators feel more confident, effective, and supported throughout the school year.
All live sessions will be held from 5:30 – 7:00 PM EST
Session 1: Executive Functioning Decoded (10-8-26)
Executive functioning challenges impact everything from organization and task completion to emotional regulation and classroom behavior. In this session, participants will learn practical strategies to support planning, initiation, flexibility, attention, and independence in ways that are manageable for busy classrooms.
Session 2: The Science of Behavior Change (11-05-26)
Student behavior can feel unpredictable and overwhelming, but there is actually a science behind why behavior happens and how it changes. In this session, participants will learn practical behavior science strategies that can be used to improve individual student behavior, while also exploring a simple group behavior change formula that can be applied across an entire classroom to increase cooperation, engagement, and positive behavior.
Session 3: Practical Differentiation (12-10-26)
Differentiation can feel overwhelming when teachers are already balancing so many competing demands. This session will focus on realistic ways to adapt instruction, support diverse learners, and increase access to learning without creating unsustainable workloads.
Session 4: Trauma-Informed Classroom Management (1-14-27)
Effective classroom management starts with understanding what students need in order to feel safe, regulated, connected, and ready to learn. In this session, participants will explore practical trauma-informed classroom management strategies related to culture and climate, student regulation, behavior skill development, and effective responses to challenging behavior. Participants will leave with a wide range of proactive and responsive strategies that support both strong classroom structure and positive student relationships.
Session 5: Reaching Disengaged Students (2-25-27)
Student engagement is not just about making learning “fun.” In this session, participants will explore practical ways to increase attention, participation, motivation, and connectedness through intentional instructional and environmental strategies that support a wide range of learners.
