Session 1: Using Ethical Problem-Solving to Respond to Colleagues with Opposing Philosophies |10-24-23 | 5:00 – 6:30 PM EST

In this session, you will learn to apply an ethical problem-solving model to work with colleagues who voice opposing views or present obstacles to implementing student supports and services. This session will provide practical strategies for collaboration as well as specific language that may diffuse collegial disagreements. You will leave this session armed with renewed confidence and skills to collaborate with colleagues respectfully while maintaining high expectations for students.

Session 2: Maintaining Ethical Standards when Developing Student Behavior Strategies | 12-4-23 | 5:00 – 6:30 PM EST

In this session, you will learn to approach student behavior strategy development through an ethical lens.  Session content will focus on maintaining ethical responsibility in various areas of behavior strategy development including appropriateness of strategies, proper staff training, fidelity monitoring, and ensuring student respect and dignity. You will leave this session armed with improved skills and confidence to maintain ethical standards in your behavior plan development.

Audience: This live webinar series is appropriate for education professionals who are invested in maintaining high ethical standards. Teachers, administrators, school psychologists, social workers, counselors, BCBA’s and any other interested parties are welcome.

Dr. Mahri Wrightington is the founder and CEO of PD Monster. She earned an undergraduate degree in psychology at Bryn Mawr College and a doctorate in school psychology at the University of Connecticut. She holds current school certifications in school psychology and school administration.
